How We Calculate This
The calculator estimates balloon count from garland length and style, with a configurable spares allowance.
Balloons per metre
- Single row: ~6 per metre
- Double (standard): ~12 per metre
- Organic / clustered: ~16 per metre
- Full arch: ~14 per metre
Spares
Add 10-15% extra for popped balloons, duds and sizing rejects. Balloon quality varies - budget balloons may need a higher spares allowance.
Frame
Garland frame strip should be the garland length plus ~1 metre for tying off at each end.
