For a soft glow around a round-table centrepiece, 3-5 tea lights is a good minimum, rising to 6-9 for a fuller candlelit look (around 6 along a 6ft trestle, one every 30cm). The Elaborate style uses 8 per table for a richer cluster. Battery-operated LED tea lights are safer and last longer than real candles, especially around children. You can adjust the per-table count in Advanced Options.

A good centrepiece should be eye-catching but not block sight lines across the table. Keep centrepieces under 30cm tall or go very tall (above 40cm) so guests can see beneath them. Flowers, lanterns, and candle arrangements all work well.

Table runners add colour and texture. They work especially well on plain white tablecloths. Standard runners are 30cm wide and should overhang each end of the table by 15-20cm.

Scatter decorations are small items like confetti, crystals, flower petals, or themed shapes spread across the tablecloth. One pack typically covers one round table. They add detail without much cost.
