Wedding Stationery Calculator — All Print Needs

This calculator works out the six items it can size from your guest numbers: save-the-dates, invitations (with RSVP cards), order of service, menu cards, place cards and thank you cards. A full set also includes a table plan and table-number cards, but those are one-offs driven by your floor plan rather than head count, so they are not auto-calculated here — budget for one table plan plus one card per table. Not all items are essential: prioritise invitations and thank you cards at minimum.

Budget packages: £200-£500 for everything. Mid-range: £500-£1,000. Premium/letterpress: £1,000-£3,000+. The Grand Total here multiplies each quantity (including your spare percentage) by its per-item cost, and adds postage for the posted items — save-the-dates, invitations and thank you cards — if you enter a postage cost. Digital alternatives can reduce costs significantly: save-the-dates and thank you cards are easy to do digitally while keeping physical invitations.

Save-the-dates: 1 per household. Invitations: 1 per household + 15% spares. Order of service: 1 per day guest. Menu cards: 1 per person or 1 per table. Place cards: 1 per day guest. Thank you cards: 1 per household. Always order 15% extra.

Save-the-dates: 10-12 months before. Invitations: 6-8 months before (send at 8-10 weeks). Order of service: 4-6 weeks before. Place cards and menus: 2-4 weeks before (need finalised guest list). Thank you cards: order before the wedding, write within 3 months after.
