Allow 8-12 sweets per child. Not every child will get exactly the same amount when scrambling for sweets, so have extras. Individually wrapped sweets work best for hygiene. Mix sizes - a few larger sweets and lots of small ones for volume.

Hang it from a strong support. Use a soft bat or stick. Keep other children well back (3 metres+). Blindfold the hitter for older children only. Let younger children hit without a blindfold. Limit each child to 3 hits. Have an adult supervise at all times.
